On behalf of the Music Aid Northwest board of directors, I would like to express our deep gratitude for the generous donation recently submitted by a world-wide group of YES fans. 100% of their $900 gift will be used to provide badly-needed supplies in our state’s public music programs.
In 2019 alone, Music Aid Northwest approved twenty-five grants totaling nearly $140,000 that will help music programs in twenty-seven different districts; purchasing everything from marimbas to choir risers.
Since our founding in 2005, we have donated well over a half-million dollars directly to the programs that need it the most.
To Pennsylvania resident Ruth Westwood, who conceived and coordinated this effort we say thank you, as well as all those who contributed:
