Music Aid Northwest to Honor Music Legend Susan Silver
Play It Forward—Music Aid Northwest’s annual benefit that helps fund music programs throughout the State of Washington is officially celebrating its 10th anniversary on March 12 at the Triple Door! After having to cancel in 2020, we are back, and ready to celebrate our anniversary.
This year, we honor Susan Silver with our Washington Music Icon award. Susan is perhaps best-known as the manager for Soundgarden and Alice In Chains, or as a co-owner of the legendary Crocodile club in Seattle, but behind the scenes, she is true musical community builder and educator. Her focus continues to be providing connection and support to young, local artists and non-profit organizations that bring health services and art opportunities to youth and women.
“As Play It Forward has grown over the last decade, we attract more and more northwest music luminaries, and we are so proud to present the Washington Music Icon Award to Susan Silver, whose generosity and love of community is inspiring to all of us,” said Bob Tomberg, Executive Director of Music Aid NW.
It truly is our honor to present Susan Silver with the Washington Music Icon award during Play It Forward. Click here for more information and to get your tickets!
